About

ABOUT

A little about myself.

After graduating from High School, I joined the United States Marine Corps. During my military service, I proudly served our country in Operation Desert Storm! The experience of liberating a foreign country gave me a sense of purpose in life. After completing my active duty military service, I was honorably discharged. Since then, I have had an unrelenting desire to help others within my own country, so I began educating myself until I graduated from UNLV with a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) degree.

Striving Toward Growth

I continued my education and obtained my MSW (Master of Social Work) degree. My desire to help others within my community continued to grow, so I educated myself further and obtained my license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). As I continued to strive for growth with a desire to serve my community, I educated myself further to become an LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor). My consistent growth continued as a clinician so I continued to educate myself and obtained my certification as a CDVC (Certified Domestic Violence Counselor).

Willing To Aquire Solutions

The steady growth throughout my life has led me to begin my own private practice. When starting my practice, I brainstormed in naming an evidenced based, therapeutically focused treatment practice. After several attempts of names that did not fit, I thought about the initials of my name (Willie Albert Stewart) and how they could correlate to treatment. I initially created the acronym, 'Willing to Acquire Solutions'. However, I soon created several treatment focused statements using my initials.

A Desire To Help

From a young age I've always had a desire to help others, and now as an adult, I am finally able to do so! As you read the statements on the front of this brochure; honestly ask yourself which statements you can identify with? I have a plethora of experience and look forward to working with you to improve your mental health and wellness If you Want to Achieve Success!
